Is planning a necessary addiction?

Is planning a necessary addiction?

Every year at the transition from one year to the next we all tend to have the very best intentions for making life progress in the upcoming year. Usually these “resolutions,” “intentions,” or whatever you want to call them get swept away with the flurry of real life and the need to go back to our regular schedules and obligations which usually carry us far from out good intentions. One of the things that I have found is that we don’t have a backup plan, without one we are doomed to keep living our present patterns until perhaps a catastrophic life event propels you into forced change. Things like losing a job, divorce or breakup, a death or anything that feels like the Universe is dropping a cinder block on your head. Wouldn’t you love to be able to make changes empowered by your own choice? (conscious choice.)   Planning your backup plan I am an admitted planner addict. I spend my mornings setting the intention for the day, reviewing the day/week before. I review my schedule so I can physically and mentally prepare for the day. I look back on the things I didn’t accomplish yesterday (not to shame myself, but to either take them from my schedule or add them to the present day.) I plan my meals and ideally I keep track of my finances (one area of weakness for me.) If you regularly review those annual intentions. If you break them up into smaller tasks and plans to make them more attainable you are more likely to reach them. It is also important to realize...
How to take the stage: Create your own movement!

How to take the stage: Create your own movement!

Step #1 is always to know yourself. Know what you stand for. Know who you are meant to help and connect with. When it comes to really working a room and taking charge, it really is crucial to have that knowledge about yourself.   Who are you? What do you stand for? Who do you help? What problems do you solve?   When you know those things you will have more confidence to present yourself with more moxie and show others your unique slant on things.   Step #2 is to create your Manifesto! It is a creation that states who you are and what you stand for. It can be as unique as you are. It can be a statement of belief, it can be artwork, it can even be a choreographed dance or performance. The most important thing about a manifesto is that you express it, and let it shine! Place it somewhere on your website or blog, share it with people you know. Find a way to be visible and unique. Be seen (I know that can be a tall order, perhaps I can help.)   If you would like to explore yourself further and find your Manifesto, here is some more information to help you get there!  You can take the stage and think about it, your ideas, plans and programs can be more than ideas floating around the ethers, they can become a movement that shapes those around you that you are meant to help. Acting on your ideas is important, as is the Manifesto. Like i said, the manifesto can be anything that...
What if you have a variety of interests and are having a hard time finding focus?

What if you have a variety of interests and are having a hard time finding focus?

I don’t know if you have this issue, but I want to talk about how it is to have a variety of interests and talents. I want to share how I have folded them into my coaching practice in a way that works in my mission to help women see their beauty, to see the beauty around them and be able to step into their lives in a more powerful, confident and visible way.     I have so many things that I am interested in and some of them seem unrelated. For instance, I am a crystal healer,  I LOVE crystals and my knowledge base is wide~ From magical uses to all areas of health…but I am also a Tarotista (One who reads/studies and loves the Tarot.) I have also spent years studying herbal healing, both Eastern and Western. My knowledge base is pretty wide and I love, love love it! I am a Wellness Coach, I am a Beauty Coach, I help women find their beauty and let go of that pesky self loathing and shame. I am also  an Intuitive, I have several intuitive gifts and I also access the Akashic records (in my own way) and am able to bring my clients what they need to know. I also do Cord Cuttings, through which I access my intuitive gifts to help people release those unhealthy and toxic attachments to other people and situations. I love Magic (Magick) and all things spiritual. I am into the Law of Attraction, but I put my own spin on it (it involves inspired *action*) I am also into working...
How to make 2015 the best year ever!

How to make 2015 the best year ever!

We are coming up on a new year. Goodbye 2014, hello 2015! It is a natural thing to reflect upon our past year… What we accomplished, what we didn’t accomplish. How we failed, how we succeeded. What we want to leave behind and the things we want to bring in to the upcoming year. Many times it is a time of great hope and optimism. Sometimes we lament over the past year, and really are eager to leave it behind. “Bad” things happened, perhaps you experienced a lot of loss, perhaps repeating patterns manifested in your relationships, maybe you gained instead of losing weight… Maybe you feel like 2014 was a big fail.   How do you feel about the past year? I know for myself, it was a year where I pushed through some upper limits (places that had stopped me in the past.) I got uncomfortable and took action even in places where I didn’t want to. There are also places where I also feel like I failed. One of the things I am doing though is transforming those “failures” into an excuse to love and care for myself by reflecting on those patterns that had kept me stuck. I had support with this. I worked with several wonderful coaches this past year and I attribute my successes to ME.  I realize that I reached out for support and that willingness to look at my patterns and the impetus (through being accountable to another person,) was what got me through those limitations. It was like birthing a new me, and I have so much gratitude for the...
I’m bringing magic to my life!

I’m bringing magic to my life!

I am participating in a blog challenge this month.  The ‘Magic up your Life! Blog Challenge.’  I will be blogging more often this month as a practice in consistency and because I am always wanting to add a little magic into my life. How about you? Here is the link in case you want to participate.   It’s been a while since I introduced myself so I thought I would do that today.   I am Kelly St. Claire and I am pleased to meet you! I am a crystal healer (having completed Hibiscus Moon’s Advanced Crystal Master training.) I am also big into the Tarot, I read and teach and work with it in my creative endeavors. I am a creative writer and love to write poetry. I am most of all a teacher and intuitive healing coach (or guide, because sometimes I am not sure about the word ‘coach.’) I help women in all aspects of their lives.  I’ve been through a lot, so I bring my experiences to the table and am so happy to help others find the artistry in their lives! My big focus is beauty and artistry and how to add it into your life and create inner as well as outer beauty. Oh, I almost forgot, I have worked with women for years, helping them access their unique beauty and sacred image. My focus has been hair and image, but I have also done makeup and fashion styling. I am huge into the idea of weaving beauty and spirituality into EVERYTHING! I have also studied and practiced with herbal medicine, Reiki, essential...
