11 things you can do to feel beautiful

11 things you can do to feel beautiful

Look at your entire body in the mirror daily. You are beautiful in your own unique way, accept who and where you are. Look at yourself naked, look at yourself in your favorite dress. Do you avoid mirrors? Try to push yourself out of your comfort zone, have a look.   Accept love. Tell yourself. “I love you” on a daily basis. Even if you don’t feel lovable, allow your heart to open to yourself. Look into your own eyes in a mirror and find compassion towards yourself. Practice this even if you don’t feel it at first, eventually your heart will open.   Get your hair done. Don’t wait for anything to try that new hairstyle that you love. Find a good stylist that you resonate with and discuss whether or not you will be able to rock that style or does another style fit you better. Open yourself to new possibilities.   Have your nails done. In a nice place where you will have a quality mani and/or pedi. Whether you choose polish or no polish, having your nails done regularly will help you feel well groomed and pampered.   Choose nourishing and whole foods. Respect your body by choosing healthy and nutrient dense foods. Avoid abusing your body with “junk” foods and processed foods. Trust me, you will feel so much better body, mind and spirit.   Move your body. Dance, yoga or simple stretching, walk or running, or your favorite workout. Moving your body will help your circulation in both the physical and energetically ( your subtle body.) There are so many other benefits, try...
Beauty styling, crystal healing, and spiritual balance

Beauty styling, crystal healing, and spiritual balance

Having your hair done is not just physical care and maintenance, it is also allowing someone to enter your crown chakra, the most sacred part of your body.  It is nothing to be taken lightly. If you don’t like going into salons and having your hair done perhaps you’re with the wrong stylist. I have heard many people say that they don’t like going into salons and having their hair done because they will have to look in the mirror.   Think about it, the mirror reflects back to you who you are on the outside. If what you see doesn’t reflect who you are on the inside, then there will be a disconnect and you won’t want to see yourself. In my coaching group and private classes we do some mirror work, facing ourselves, staring ourselves down. In long distance coaching we also have assignments that include mirror work. Connecting our inner selves with our outer expression is so important. Having a stylist who is conscious of that and offers more than just a cut and blow dry is a valuable find. Having a stylist who also addresses your energy body and offers coaching in not only beauty but other areas of your life is the ultimate in spiritual self care. Hair represents many things, it holds your DNA, it holds memories and imprints of events you’ve experienced. Having is cut is a cleansing step towards allowing new things into your life. Having your hair washed can be symbolic of cleansing away the cobwebs in your mind and clearing your connection to the divine. Combining the washing and...
What if you have a variety of interests and are having a hard time finding focus?

What if you have a variety of interests and are having a hard time finding focus?

I don’t know if you have this issue, but I want to talk about how it is to have a variety of interests and talents. I want to share how I have folded them into my coaching practice in a way that works in my mission to help women see their beauty, to see the beauty around them and be able to step into their lives in a more powerful, confident and visible way.     I have so many things that I am interested in and some of them seem unrelated. For instance, I am a crystal healer,  I LOVE crystals and my knowledge base is wide~ From magical uses to all areas of health…but I am also a Tarotista (One who reads/studies and loves the Tarot.) I have also spent years studying herbal healing, both Eastern and Western. My knowledge base is pretty wide and I love, love love it! I am a Wellness Coach, I am a Beauty Coach, I help women find their beauty and let go of that pesky self loathing and shame. I am also  an Intuitive, I have several intuitive gifts and I also access the Akashic records (in my own way) and am able to bring my clients what they need to know. I also do Cord Cuttings, through which I access my intuitive gifts to help people release those unhealthy and toxic attachments to other people and situations. I love Magic (Magick) and all things spiritual. I am into the Law of Attraction, but I put my own spin on it (it involves inspired *action*) I am also into working...
Do you have a home office?

Do you have a home office?

Where is your haven? Where do you do your writing, spiritual work and such? Do you have a dedicated space?  I used to have a desk (a messy and ugly space) down in the corner of my dining room. The only pretty thing about it was the lovely iMac that I call my ‘baby’, the larger screen that allows me to feel enveloped in my work. Surrounding it was an attempt to be organized with no dedicated space for anything. There were mismatched filing cabinets and piles that I knew the order (please don’t mess with my piles.)   When my son moved out I asked his permission to create a home office in his room. I have another room that I use as a dressing room that we can fix up should he decide to move back in.  There was a bit of guilt, but I did speak to him in advance, he laughed and said “of course.”   I painted it turquoise because that color sparks my creativity, and the blue is calming, the green is for growth. My work is not “run of the mill,” so it made sense to have a home office with this color.  We moved furniture we already had in and it fit perfectly! Now my business is a real business, and not something I do on the side and in my spare time (like a hobby.) I have office hours and writing time. I have my salt lamps and my crystal grids going. I sage regularly. I have my books and a pretty and colorful rug. It is somewhere I love...
How I became a crystal healer

How I became a crystal healer

Do you love crystals? I know I do, they are a passion of mine. I always have loved their sparkle and beauty, and from a young age I knew there was a LOT more to them. Over the years I collected many crystals and would carry them, hold them while meditating, use them on my altar, sleep with them under my pillow. I just knew that there was more to them than just sparkle and beauty. At the end of 2011, I made a very import end decision that has affected everything I am all about. I decided to enroll in Hibiscus Moon’s Certified Crystal Healer course so I could learn more about our sparkly allies and to be able to better help others. Quite honestly, I was always a crystal healer and I don’t believe you HAVE to have a class and certification to make you into a healer. The reason I love this opportunity so much is that you do learn the science and physics behind why and how the crystals work. I have been able to utilize crystals better and more often into my life, from building my own crystal grids to working with the crystals on clients, giving crystal consultation and and much more. Hibiscus Moon has even helped me out learning how to weave crystal healing into a genuine business and I have had much success since taking her course. I am proud to say that on May 22nd, 2012 I became a Certified Crystal healer, and on September 18th, 2013 I became a Hibiscus Moon Advanced Crystal Master. She is currently enrolling for...
How do you celebrate the full moon?

How do you celebrate the full moon?

When I am joyfully connected with myself and the cycles of Mother nature,  I am very aware of the moon. I know where she is, when she’s waxing, when she’s waning… I know when she’s full or new.   During the times when I am cut off from the incredible source energy that is everything, I tend to have no idea where the moon is.   Right now the moon is waxing, the energy is building and on the 10th she will be full, not just full, but a Super Moon, which means that she will be the closest to the Earth. The energy will be the strongest it can be, to affect change and make an impact. Here is an excellent article containing many different insights and much information on this particular moon. The energies present are right on time for me, how about you?   I like to mark the new and full moons through little rituals, and harness the energy emanating from the moon to cleanse and charge things (and myself.) I will share a few things I do to mark the FULL moon.   1. Build a crystal grid, or re-activate a crystal grid.   2. Ground, put my bare feet on the Earth and draw in the healing energy.   3. Get out in nature and connect with the season, whichever one we are in.   4. Cleanse my crystals in the light of the moon . I put them on cookie sheets, cleanse them with sound and(if they are not too safe, water) and carry them out to my deck to soak up the...
