Finding love and acceptance for your body

Finding love and acceptance for your body

Remaining open to the possibilities isn’t always easy. I know that. It’s easy to feel trapped and immovable by your circumstances. I want to assure you that change IS possible, you are able to change your situation by changing your actions in any area of your life.   How you do anything is how you do everything. This is true. If you want to lose weight, try losing resentment and finding forgiveness for another difficult situation in your life. Releasing in one area will release in others. This is true. Try changing the way you look at things.   How can you find love and acceptance for yourself and your body, regardless of shape or size? Try accepting another situation in your life. This will create a pathway for acceptance in all other areas of your life. This is an energetic truth. Sometimes you may need support. Accept support and help, and gifts from others. I know it can be a struggle. Accepting and receiving can be a challenge, but there are people out there who are willing and able to help you. In all areas of your life.   Want to love your body?   Find other ways to love yourself. Write a list of things you appreciate about yourself. Write out everything, even the tiny things or things that are easily taken for granted, like “I am grateful for my feet and legs because I can walk.” To find the beauty in your body, find beauty elsewhere. Open yourself to beauty and acceptance. Love yourself. Love others and accept love from others. It’s not easy, but it’s...
Beauty styling, crystal healing, and spiritual balance

Beauty styling, crystal healing, and spiritual balance

Having your hair done is not just physical care and maintenance, it is also allowing someone to enter your crown chakra, the most sacred part of your body.  It is nothing to be taken lightly. If you don’t like going into salons and having your hair done perhaps you’re with the wrong stylist. I have heard many people say that they don’t like going into salons and having their hair done because they will have to look in the mirror.   Think about it, the mirror reflects back to you who you are on the outside. If what you see doesn’t reflect who you are on the inside, then there will be a disconnect and you won’t want to see yourself. In my coaching group and private classes we do some mirror work, facing ourselves, staring ourselves down. In long distance coaching we also have assignments that include mirror work. Connecting our inner selves with our outer expression is so important. Having a stylist who is conscious of that and offers more than just a cut and blow dry is a valuable find. Having a stylist who also addresses your energy body and offers coaching in not only beauty but other areas of your life is the ultimate in spiritual self care. Hair represents many things, it holds your DNA, it holds memories and imprints of events you’ve experienced. Having is cut is a cleansing step towards allowing new things into your life. Having your hair washed can be symbolic of cleansing away the cobwebs in your mind and clearing your connection to the divine. Combining the washing and...
How to improve or release difficult relationships

How to improve or release difficult relationships

I’m about to share a really surprising way to improve your relationships. Not just improve and help your current relationships become healthy, but how to release the ones that no longer serve you. Have you ever heard of cutting psychic cords of attachment? Surprisingly enough, cutting psychic cords of attachment is not only for ending a relationship, it can greatly improve the relationship between you and someone you hold dear when there are unhealthy or codependent attachments and toxic energies between you and another. It especially comes in handy when you want to release pain between yourself and another. It is not a miracle, but a subtle energetic technique that brings about deep and inner transformation.   I offer cord cuttings to my private clients as a part of their work with me and when the relationships are holding them back, but for a limited time I am offering them on a one time appointment basis. I will decide who I will work with on a case to case basis. We will decide whether this is the right step for you. Read on to find out more about these cords and exactly what it is that I am offering. I highly suggest setting up a follow up coaching session with me about a week after the cord cutting to process and integrate the subtle changes (that are powerful) into your life. What is a cord of attachment?   Simply put, a cord is an energetic connection. It is a toxic, unhealthy connection between yourself and another. We don’t see these cords, we feel them, and they affect us in...
Are you structured, or spontaneous? (a peek into my life)

Are you structured, or spontaneous? (a peek into my life)

Sunday is a day for fun and creativity, and a day to slow down and enjoy some family, friend and ‘me’ time. How about you? Do you have themes for your days?   On Sunday I take a rest day from working out, I get up early and create a blog post, drink coffee and enjoy the quiet house. Even the dog is asleep. Sometimes I am called crazy for getting up so early on a day when many people sleep in, but it’s my love. My beloved creative time. Once I have been up a while, my daughter and I usually make a run to Trader Joe’s before it gets crowded for our smoothie supplies and to see what they have to taste 😉 Then we just do whatever we want for the rest of the day. On most Sundays I have a regular coffee and chit-chat date with my dear friend Heather, sometimes we do a photo shoot (she is a talented photographer.) We do hair and makeup and play around with images! other days we just visit and chatter away.   One some days, we might venture out to shop for fun, laughing and embarrassing my poor teen, but really, just spending time with her is a delight! We have such a good time on Sundays!     On The weekdays I have regular office days scheduled, and specific times I work with clients. I also have designated salon days, where I work in person with clients. Fun and creative times indeed. How about you? Do you work well with a loose schedule? Designated times for...
What if you have a variety of interests and are having a hard time finding focus?

What if you have a variety of interests and are having a hard time finding focus?

I don’t know if you have this issue, but I want to talk about how it is to have a variety of interests and talents. I want to share how I have folded them into my coaching practice in a way that works in my mission to help women see their beauty, to see the beauty around them and be able to step into their lives in a more powerful, confident and visible way.     I have so many things that I am interested in and some of them seem unrelated. For instance, I am a crystal healer,  I LOVE crystals and my knowledge base is wide~ From magical uses to all areas of health…but I am also a Tarotista (One who reads/studies and loves the Tarot.) I have also spent years studying herbal healing, both Eastern and Western. My knowledge base is pretty wide and I love, love love it! I am a Wellness Coach, I am a Beauty Coach, I help women find their beauty and let go of that pesky self loathing and shame. I am also  an Intuitive, I have several intuitive gifts and I also access the Akashic records (in my own way) and am able to bring my clients what they need to know. I also do Cord Cuttings, through which I access my intuitive gifts to help people release those unhealthy and toxic attachments to other people and situations. I love Magic (Magick) and all things spiritual. I am into the Law of Attraction, but I put my own spin on it (it involves inspired *action*) I am also into working...
5 ways to get healthy again

5 ways to get healthy again

I want to share something personal today, something I hope will help you out if you’re struggling with anything health related, especially when it has to do with your body weight which affects body image, which affects *everything.* As of late I have not taking good care of my body, I knew why (emotional eating) but didn’t have the impetus to make a change. Emotional eating is where you use the pleasure you get from eating, especially comfort foods, to make up for an area in your life where you feel deprived. I had several areas in my life where I wasn’t getting needs met, and I wasn’t making the changes I needed to make in order to shift that. I knew I had to make a change. I looked in the mirror and didn’t feel love for my body, I hated on her, I punished myself by overeating and then I refused to look in the mirror. I wasn’t fitting into my clothes. That wasn’t me. I am, at heart, a very health and fitness oriented person. At the gym I gravitate towards the free weight section, at home I had completed a number of the Beachbody programs like P90X and ALL of the Chalene Johnson sets (I am a super-fan.) I was used to being in touch with my body through yoga and having an individual practice of weights and body weight exercises that I did every morning. They were a part of my routine. I also really watched what I ate and chose organic, grass fed and nutrient dense. I also wasn’t extreme, I knew what it...
